School's Over... For Good!!!

School's finally over! We graduated!!! =D It's such a great feeling! And I'm once again apologizing for the lack of posting. I posted absolutely nothing this entire semester. But not because I haven't been working, more because most of what I did for the past three months was stuff that can't be shown right now (and I probably wouldn't anyway! =p) Hopefully now I'll have more time for personal projects with school out of the way!
And just to end the non posting streak, here's a model sheet for Redle, which I regrettably only had time to clean-up after the 3D model was done... Maybe I'll go back to that later.

Painting in 3D

Final (?) Version of this project. An attempt to make one of Gil Elvgren's pin-up paintings into 3D... Sculpted in ZBrush, posed in 3DSMax, reworked and decimated in ZBrush, then rendered in Max... Here's a breakdown (Thanks Steff for showing me the rim light trick...)

Also, I never really posted any progress on this, so here's roughly how it went (I know it looks really scary in some stages)...

Update on Ollie... Might have to knock the detail on the diffuse a little bit, but that's life...

Yet another WIP, this time completely unrelated to our senior project. I started working on this last summer, then stopped, then came back to it recently. This is a fairly old iteration, I'll post the final when I'm done rendering. =p
